Wakeland's Eva Brinkman won the District 10-5A girls diving title on Thursday, while Centennial's Harrison Kaster won the boys title at FISD Bruce Eubanks Natatorium.

Kaster, who finished 11th at the UIL 5A state meet last year, is among six FISD boys divers who earned spots in the 5A Region III meet, which will be Jan. 31-Feb. 2 at the Eubanks Natatorium. The senior will be joined by Wakeland senior Zach Ogden, who finished second on Thursday, and Centennial senior Trenton Jardine, who was third. The other regional qualifiers were Independence senior Max Truty, Heritage junior Caleb Solis and Memorial freshman Ocean Alto.

Brinkman, a junior, broke the Wakeland school record and set a District meet record with 418.15 points. She was followed by Centennial freshman Olivia Nelson (second) and Memorial freshman Peyton Guziec, who set a school record as she finished third. The other girls regional qualifiers were Reedy sophomore Morgan Coughlen (who also set a school record), Reedy sophomore Autumn Kniering and Memorial sophomore Fallon Stevens.

The swimming portion of the District 10-5A meet begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Eubanks Auditorium.

Bruce Eubanks Natatorium is located at 7411 North First Street in Frisco. Admission prices for the District Swim Meet are $7 for adults and $3 for students. Heat sheets will be available for $3.
